State Of The Art Parcel Sortation System
Norpak was responsible for the overall system integration including the supply of conveyor equipment manufactured in their Port Hope, Ontario plant. The company worked closely with chosen sub contractors, Sandvik Sorting Systems and Brock Solutions, for the implementation of this high speed system. The heart of the sortation system is a model SBIR-MD2D high speed cross belt sorter, over 1,100 feet in length, manufactured by Sandvik Sorting Systems, Italy and supported by the industry leading “Smart Sort” controls systems designed and supplied by Brock Solutions.
