Belt Conveyor
Belt conveyors were one of the first powered conveyor types available and still have many uses in modern systems. They are used for straight forward transportation of product as well as on inclines and declines. They are also used for product metering. There are 2 basic types available- belt over slider bed and belt over roller.
Roller Bed
Belt over roller with its lower friction factors uses a smaller drive motor to convey the same given load.
Slider Bed
The belt over slider bed is the most economical for shorter runs. A slider bed is less expensive than carrying rollers but comes at the cost of a larger drive motor.
