Transportation Live Roller Conveyor
Live roller conveyors are the mainstay of many carton conveying systems. Designs are available for accumulation, sortation, diverting and transportation. Types available include belt driven, chain driven and lineshaft. The spacing between rollers makes this design of conveyor an obvious choice for the mounting of ancillary devices such as transveyors, pushers and case turners.
In any live roller application the product to be conveyed must have a flat, uniform conveying surface. A minimum of 3 rollers must be under the product at all times. Products in bags may tend to drape around the carrying rollers thus limiting its effectiveness.
