By definition, a conveyor system is mechanical equipment working together to transport materials from one area to another within the same location. The conveyor system provides a safer, more efficient and cost-effective means of moving items.

One conveyor can perform the tasks of many men in moving materials and/or objects from one location to another. This is important especially when moving stocks from one floor to another, which when done by hand is both risky as well as very dangerous to both the product and the worker.


If products are carried by hand, then the danger of mishandling increases as the handling of the items may be improperly done. Having a conveyor system in place can greatly reduce the probability of damage as the items are moved consistently and smoothly.

Moving raw materials through the manufacturing floor require a permanent conveyor system. Transporting the finished product to the waiting delivery vans often require a movable conveyor system.

It may be vertical or inclined or horizontal in movement. The equipment working together in a conveyor system include motors, holders, guides, rollers or belts. The key element here is that the material is safely carried by the conveyor system to its intended destination. This safety is imperative not just for the products or materials, but also for the workers.
